Mother Tongue Week

Last week was Mother Tongue Week at Clementi Primary School.

One of the main highlights of the school was its Mother Tongue Carnival on Thursday, held at the school. So, the Mother Tongue Department had been busy since Monday to get all the props ready for the carnival.

Wednesday was our busiest when the school hall was finally cleared for us to put up our stuff. My fellow Malay teachers and I stayed back till 5pm.

Then, the next morning, we were in the school hall again, as early as 7.45am, for last minute touch-ups of our game stalls and booth.

END RESULT:

Our Kueh Display

Our Kampong Scene

Oh, not forgetting, I was one of the camera-women for the day. :D

So I was practically running around trying to take as much quality pictures of everything as possible. The Kampong Scene, The Kueh Display, pupils admiring our Kampong Scene and Kueh Display..

Students enjoying our gamestalls..

Students enjoying our traditional Malay games..

So at the end of the day...

I WAS DAMN SHAGGED!!! :/

However, check out Clementi Primary's very own..

Dayang Intan Payung!

Puteri Radin Mas Ayu!

Pak Pandir!

Mat Jenin!

And..
Hang Kebun!

Oh, plenty of "Malay Couples" too! :p

Two of Clementi Primary's autistic students enjoying themselves.

IT WAS TRULY A GREAT DAY! :D
