BD presentation. surprised our panel judges with our level of "professionalism". 80s rock music to get a feel of the atmosphere of our business, each of us presented business cards, a very in-your-face nametag each, a "Fanta" bottled drink for each judge and other props to facilitate our presentation.
presentation was alrite. but we got "shot down" during Q&A. we were questioned a few times about the authenticity of our store, how we're gonna distinguish ourselves from our competitors, how to prevent "copycats" but mainly, how do we upkeep our authenticity level if we're a Halal-concept restaurant which would compromise the ingredients of certain dishes like Char Kway Teow and Bah Kut Teh.
and for the 1st time since KAINE join my BD grp, i was thankful he was there. he was able to ans a particularly difficult question thrown by the judge. [the question had everyone stunned!] and the good thing is, they were IMPRESSED!AWESOME-NESS!
den lunch-ed wif KENNETH, ROBIN, HAIRUL, ADA, VAN, JOY, PEIJIN and her fren @ LJS at Marina Square. den RYAN came and join us. sat there and chat. was trying hard not to zonk out the entire time. the rest all keep saying "AISYAH! dun sleep ah!" and van who was sitting beside me keep shaking me juz so i stayed awake. they told me not to sleep and to make it my personal challenge to see how long i cn go w/out sleep. hahaha. HAIRUL even compared me to a panda. [a panda, HAIRUL!!??] oh, and they called me a "vampire" too for not sleeping for 3days straight. hahaha. cool2! I AM VAMPIRE GIRL!!
train-ed to BB to my aunt's house. [i always visit her every Sat.] was able to stay awake for abt an hour before i crashed. no sleep since i woke up on at 8am on Wed morning. Sorry guys! 82 hours is my limit! hahaha! :D
